Coaching

Coaching is always a personalized experience. No two people are the same therefore no two coaching sessions are the same. This is not a cookie cutter approach. I will start by laying the foundation for a safe, non-judgmental space. Together, we will explore the reasons you have come to coaching and set goals for our work. Using my intuition, empathy, and experience, we will form an executable plan (with adaptations as necessary) to keep you on track towards success.

Training

Just as with my coaching, training is not one size fits all. To start, I assess your current state of conditioning, any current or previous injuries, as well as your short and long-term goals. Together we will agree on a training protocol that will fit your lifestyle and goals. Whether you need a more regimented program or nurturing encouragement, I will make sure to hold you accountable.

My Philosophy

My interest in health, fitness, and biohacking grew in tandem with the growth of my BDSM experience. I started to draw parallels between BDSM and other practices people used for self-improvement such as yoga, sports, float tanks, and meditation. These realizations launched the KinkyCoaching™ concept. As a certified life coach, personal trainer, and yoga instructor, KinkyCoaching™ was the next logical step in my evolution. I have seen how BDSM can be a valuable life hack and I am eager to share this with you to help you achieve your goals.

My years of experience in BDSM have shown me that the majority of those who participate in this lifestyle are well adjusted, highly intelligent, and use this practice to enhance their life in many ways. One of the most sought after benefits of BDSM is achieving a state of flow. In an interview with TIME Magazine about the benefits of BDSM, Brad Sagrin, a research professor at Northern Illinois University, explains flow as the moment when “…the rest of the world drops away and someone is completely focused on what they’re doing.” Participants in BDSM may know this feeling as “sub-space.”  People can experience this state in many ways, but BDSM is just one way I will get you there.

In 2016, I was interviewed by the CEO/Founder of Bulletproof, Dave Aspery, about the correlation between BDSM and an elevated state. At the time of publication, BDSM was scoffed at as a training approach. However, recent studies show the distinct, positive biological response to BDSM (see Interesting Reading for more information).

KinkyCoaching™ can be a very useful approach to motivate, improve, and enhance lives on a holistic level.

What it’s NOT

Coaching is not psychological therapy. Life coaches aim to motivate, offer emotional support and create confidence in their clients. Many life coaches focus on creating a new life path in order to achieve goals, whereas therapy seeks to create emotional resolutions to past problems. If I feel that therapy is needed, I will make sure to suggest kink friendly providers.

KinkyCoaching™ is not traditional domination. If you are seeking a domination session I can help you find the appropriate provider.

I am not a nutritionist (yet) and do not offer meal programs. However, my resources are vast, and I can easily make an appropriate recommendation to move you towards your goals.

I am not a medical professional. I am able to provide my informed opinion and direct you to the expertise you may need.
